Refund Policy

Effective date: 3 August 2026

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions to Tradesef (the "Service"), operated by Tradesef, KvK-42139478, the Netherlands. It should be read together with our Terms of Service. Payments are processed by Stripe.

1. All sales are final

Tradesef is offered as a recurring subscription, billed monthly or yearly (currently Basic and Advanced). You are billed in advance for each billing period. All sales are final and subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; cancelling stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You keep access until then.

2. EU/EEA right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

Because Tradesef is a digital service that we start providing immediately, when you subscribe you are asked to:

  • expressly request that we begin providing the Service immediately, and
  • acknowledge that you therefore lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed, and that where the Service is partly performed during the withdrawal period you may owe a proportionate amount for the part already provided.

Where the right of withdrawal still applies and you exercise it within 14 days, we will refund the amounts due without undue delay.

3. Refunds outside the withdrawal period

Outside the statutory withdrawal period described above, all payments are final. Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods, because you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund unused time after a mid-period cancellation.

4. Mandatory refunds

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory refund or remedy you are entitled to under the consumer law of your country of residence.

5. How to cancel

  • To cancel: use the cancellation option in the app, or contact us. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period. All payments already made are final and non-refundable.

Risk DisclosureFutures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones' financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Hypothetical Performance DisclosureHypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
