Cookie Policy

Effective date: 3 August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Tradesef ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our web application (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website or web app. Similar technologies (such as local storage and tokens) work in a comparable way. They let the Service remember things like whether you are logged in.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on). These are required for the Service to work and cannot be switched off. They include:

  • Authentication and session cookies/tokens that keep you securely logged in.
  • Security cookies that help protect the Service and its users.

Because these are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested, they do not require consent under EU law.

Functional, analytics and other non-essential cookies (consent required).

  • If and when we use analytics or other non-essential cookies to understand how the Service is used and to improve it, we will only set them after you give consent through our cookie banner.

We do not use advertising cookies.

3. Your choices

When required, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies through a cookie banner the first time you use the Service, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working (for example, you may not be able to stay logged in).

4. Third parties

Some of the providers that help us run the Service (see our Privacy Policy) may set their own strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies as part of delivering the Service.

5. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time and will post the updated version with a new effective date.

Risk DisclosureFutures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones' financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Hypothetical Performance DisclosureHypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
